Lucie Hošková and Hubert Švaříček are connected by their approach to the painting process. They both work with the patina of decay and oxidation. They directly accelerate the process and stop it in a moment, sometimes random, sometimes precisely given. Hubert's dreamy paintings recall the house and garden of his childhood and Lucie's thematise the body, death and pain.
