Graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague and finalist for the 16th Critics’ Prize for Young Painting 2023.

Oskar Hořánek is a painter. Industrial and sacred objects appear on his canvases. In his works we can notice the predominant white and grey, which he layers, mixes or lets flow freely on the canvas. His work touches on the shaping of the environment, which he retrospectively projects onto the human being.
